Helmet Diving in Bora

Before anything else I want to apologized for not updating this blog as frequent as I promised because I was busy recovering my pictures on my phone. I accidentally deleted the 2000 + pictures and the only backup I have is the Boracay escapades last January. So forgive me please (pretty please! :P)

This might not my first time to visit the Island of Boracay but this was my first time to try the activities. During my first visit, Helmet diving, Banana boat and the like were not yet discovered (or hindi uso). I enjoyed it back then, it was more peaceful and not crowded. But despite the downside of Boracay nowadays I enjoyed it more this time because I have my growing family with me.

We got a package worth 1200 php for Banana Boat, Helmet Diving and Fly fish. I enjoyed all those activities but I enjoyed Fly fish the most because I like extreme activities! (if you can call that extreme! hahaha!) I am surprised that I am in love with extremity because when I was a kid I easily got dizzy and scared! But I overcome those in each passing year! and here I am enjoying my life to the fullest!

So, Back to the Helmet diving experience. I warning you that you will get a really extreme earache! Extreme!!!! right? hahaha! I almost back out in the middle of the activity because of my ear. But I am happy that I didn’t because the experience was wonderful!

Sooner or later you will not remember how your ears hurt but you will surely remember the feelings and the experience you experienced when you go under the sea! (I almost sing the song Under the sea of Little Mermaid!!!) So I encourage you to try Helmet diving! and Banana boat! and Fly fish. We’ll try ATV and parasailing next time 🙂

Here’s some of the pictures of our adventure. Enough with the exclamation point! (I said enough sidney!)

What do you think? Comments are love!

Till next time! Tata!

Happy Birthday!!

Today the most amazing woman I’ve known celebrates her fifty sixth birthday. hooray!!!

I want to take this opportunity to thank her and tell her how much I love her.

Here we go.

I am blessed to have a mother like you mama. Thank you for always putting our happiness before yours. I don’t know how you do it because I’m having a hands-on experience right now and believed me when I say that being a mother is not an easy job but I really don’t know how you do it smoothly and perfectly.

I always made you cry and sorry for that. Being the most stubborn daughter you have, I know I am pain in the ass. I’m not proud that I gave and still giving you headaches once in a while always. I’m sorry for everything mama. How I wish I listened to you when I was a kid, but I didn’t regret it because I have Keyn with me. I just regret that I’ve hurt you in the process.

I wish that when the right time comes, I’ll make you proud. I really want to make you proud mama. and I hope that the time will come a year or two from now.

Thank you for the experiences you let us experienced. Places that you let us see. Love that you let us feel. Thank you for giving us the best of the best. Thank you for letting us enjoy this lifetime with you by our side.

When I die, I will asked God to let me have you again as my mother because you are so selfless and simply you are the best. We are so grateful to have you as our family because for you family always comes first.

Happy 56th birthday. Hope you’ll enjoy this day!!!!!!!!!! We’ll celebrate in on Sunday. Thank you mama!

Till next time, Ciao!

I Miss You Everyday

I came from a very close family, I may not look like a papa’s girl but I do. I am also a mama’s girl, tita’s girl tito’s girl and a lola’s girl. My favorite lola died two years ago and it was a big loss not just to me but to my mother and her siblings.
I remember that during the first two days of her wake, I didn’t look at her inside the coffin and I didn’t finish any mass the entire wake, I don’t know but one thing is for sure, I want to leave the memory of my healthy and lovable Inang, not the lifeless Inang. plus I cried during the mass. it’s like accepting the fact that my Inang will not coming back and I hate that fact.
I miss my lola every single day. She was the one who took care of me when I was a baby and because of that we had a bond that no one had. I used to lie down with her in her bed. Kiss her cheek and tell her jokes about her white hairs. How I really want her to see Keyn grows.
I miss her everyday. Sometimes I asked her if she can visit me in my dreams but I guess she’s busy chitchatting with her friends and relatives. also, I know that she misses tatang (my lolo) so I’ll forgive her for that. But I do hope that she will visit me, I want to know if she’s doing okay and partying like an animal in heaven.
Last year as we celebrate her birthday, we visited her grave in Manila Memorial Park. It’s the first time I visited her after the funeral. I always want to visit her, a day after the funeral or on her 40th but I always make an excuse. I don’t know why but I may not be ready that time but time heals all wound indeed. We can laugh now. We can smile. Your babies are happy now lola knowing that you are fine.
The only thing that made me accept the death of my lola was that she’s fine now, happier and healthier.

So Inang, I hope that there’s an internet shop in heaven and someone taught you how to use a computer so you can read my post.

Inang, look at your babies. Yung mga inalagaan mo. Yung mga pinalaki at minahal mo. Surely we miss you everyday. but we know that you are with our Almighty God so there’s no room for regrets and sadness.

I say it to you many times before and I’ll say it to you again. I love you! I am so blessed to be your grandchild, You’re the lola that everyone should wished for. I thank you everyday that you give me a loving mother, she’s like you. Selfless and loving. I also thank you everyday for giving me the best titas and titos. It’s like you gave them a piece of you and thank you for that.

I love you Inang, the only regret that I have until today is that I didn’t go home immediately when I received the news that you died. because of that I lost the chance to kiss you, na magmano, and to say goodbye. I hope you’ll forgive me for that Inang. I miss you everyday. We’ll see each other again and when that happens, I will kiss and hug you. We’ll party and I will teach you to dance. Mahal na mahal kita inang. Till next time

Hey guys. Sorry for being too emotional. I really want to post this so please forgive me 🙂 Meet my family!

Till next time, Ciao!

Baguio June 2014

First things first! I have to warn you this is going to be a looooooooong post 😛

We celebrate Independence day and my niece’s birthday in Baguio. After I don’t know when finally I came back! This is super duper special to me because I came back with my men. hart hart na! 😛

It was raining last June but heck! we didn’t stop. Rain or shine, Baguio it is!

First Stop. Our lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan. We’re so lucky because when we came there’s an ongoing mass. I’m not sure if it’s the first time that I visited the Manaoag but I made a wish anyway.

After our stopover in Manaoag and after a few hours we arrived in Baguio. We stayed in Teacher’s Camp just beside the famous White House. Yeah right?! so creepy right? we have to pass right the creepy house to go to the nearest store to buy goods.

We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights so bitin right?

Our first stop was the Mansion, Actually I don’t get it why it became a tourist spot but what the heck photo op din to 😛

We had lots of fun when taking these pictures. kasi puro kulitan lang. these 4 photos are the most okay out of  the 15. It’s my baby brother’s fault actually 😛

We settled for the Mansion and went to SM Baguio to buy goods for this trip. So there Day 1 in Baguio ends.

On our next day, our first stop was Baguio Cathedral, Unfortunately there wasn’t a mass so we just offered our silent prayer. I’m a little bit disappointed on what happened beside the Cathedral. Before there was a biiiig empty space. I love it the way that way, t’was more peaceful and more solemn than now. The empty space before became a tiangge now. Sarap diba. lols

If you noticed that I’m always on the front, it is because I have the monopod with me. See I came prepared right?

Anong sinabi ng DSLR nila? lols.

Next is the Grotto. We conquered the 252 steps! Horay! My macho’s really enjoyed the view. Obvious naman right? we offered a prayer for my Inang and light candles.

Next were SM Baguio and Burnham Park since they’re near each other. My little macho enjoys the boat ride and didn’t want to leave but due to the rain we had to stop the ride and of course the non stop paddling and endless turns (due to the lack in experience on how to paddle XD) made us dizzy. Went back to the Teacher’s camp to rest then Kenneth, Lynsey, Jas, Dabs and I went to palengke to buy pasalubong.

We ate dinner at the 50’s Dinner. It will be on another blog post because this post alone it tooooo long already 😛

We spent our last night drinking and talking and on our last day we went to wright park for my macho to ride a real horse. A few months ago before we went to Baguio I promised myself that the next time my son rode a horse it will be real. So there I kept my promise.

Can you see the butterfly? Not all of you may know that we lost our dear grandmother last 2013, she was very dear to me. She took care of me when I was a baby and being a great lola, she still cares for me even if she’s in heaven. She’s guiding me that time. I am really an accident-prone. I fell on a tree once when I was a kid. maybe that’s the reason she’s guiding me. She thought I might fell on the horse that time. Don’t cha worry Inang I will be careful na so that you will not worry about me.

and then to the mines view park though we didn’t enjoy the view because of the fog. We ended up buying extra pasalubong and took pictures.

I don’t know why I post this picture. I know some find it chaka but I find it cute kaya.

After going to mines view park we head back to the Teacher’s Camp to checked out and for more pictures!!!!

Happy girls are the prettiest right?

This trip was one of the highlights of my year. You see my sister’s bestfriend and my sister from another mother went to Dubai and will stay there for I don’t know how long. and this will be our last trip for a loooong time. Also, my mommy Linda went to Canada after a month. Traveling with my family was the best thing that happen to me this 2014. Will definitely looking forward for our 2015 escapades.

So there! How we enjoyed Baguio!!!!!

Till next time. Ciao!

Fontana 2014

I’m missing the travel and the out of town trips so here I am posting 🙂
Last April 2014 we went to Fontana to have a good time 🙂 and GAAAWD I had fun 🙂
Sorry again because obviously this is a throwback post.
Aside from the aircon and the slightly dirty water in the pool and a pricey internet connection (500 php for a day amd 1 mpbs speed), I am good 🙂
I wish I have a home like this and a backyard to die for 🙂 what do you think? comments are love 🙂

A Taste of Zamboanga in the Heart of Malate

Since this is the last day of June, I will give you a taste of zamboanga 🙂 Since we’re eating again here to celebrate my niece 2nd bday 🙂
This was the second time we come to Zamboanga’s Restaurant at Malate. Our first dine here was April last year when we celebrate Lynsey’s College Graduation and after a year and so, we returned once again!
They have really good service and great food! When you visit try to order their kare-kare. They have pork and seafoods kare-kare and they’re delish! Not that I will trade their kare to my mom’s and pop’s kare kare but they are the best (so far, i think) if I’m not comparing it to my parent’s dish. hahahha!
Just don’t try the adobong kangkong coz you might regret it. yeah believe me because I did!
while we ate they have this little show and they are entertaining sometimes. hehehhe. Just look for yourself and rate it. Zamboanga’s Restaurant will never disappoint you 🙂

Westnuk: A Secluded Paradise

Hi gals! First I want to apologized for not updating my blog often, due to some circumstances and because of my current addiction, reading novels via wattpad. Yeah hahahha. sorry for not updating.
And now, Summer isn’t over yet, I think, so I want to share with you guys my experience in Westnut to give you an idea on your next summer outing. I want to share with you this awesome experience in this secluded paradise. Hope you’ll enjoy!
I’m not a beach kind of person, I am more of a swimming pool kind (I don’t like the saltiness of the beach, chlorine is more bearable for me. hahhahha.). Why? maybe because I can’t swim all the way to the nth feet or I don’t like the saltiness and the sand that will stick inside your swimsuit. but don’t get me wrong, I may not like the beach but I don’t hate it either, let’s say it’s 60/40 kind of likes. But sometimes even though I’m not fond of beaches I can’t help myself but to mesmerized by its beauty. The color of the reflection of the sun when it’s rising and setting. the clear water, the fine sand. I may not like it but I can appreciate it.
There are only 3 beaches that I liked so far, The beach in Boracay nung hindi pa ganun kapolluted. in Marinduque because I can clearly open my eyes under the water (ng hindi nasasaktan ang mga mata ko) and I can swim endlessly, plus the scenery. gaaawd! I miss Marinduque :(. and lastly, this! the beach in Westnuk Beach resort in Bataan. Yung malinaw at malinis na tubig na kala mo hindi nahahawahan ng polluted na tubig galing sa Manila bay o sa maduming Ilog Pasig. Yung isdang maliliit. And the privacy. Yeah Westnuk is the only beach resort in the area. It’s inside the Bataan Nuclear PowerPlant and it’s Government owned and a public beach resort, though I think you need to make a reservation first.
The accommodation is good but not that great. Limited rooms in the mini hotel but you can camp near the shore. ohhh I miss camping. 🙂 There are cottages that can accommodate 500+ visitors. you can also rent a videoke and sing to your heart’s content. 🙂
Another thing that I enjoyed here is that it’s not over populated. since it’s somewhat a secret place because who could have known that there’s a paradise inside the nuclear power plant?
I don’t know if it’s a good thing or not for you but for me it is. Limited ang signal. Yeah as in Limited. Smart lang ata meron dito and hindi lahat ng place kasi sa may pwesto ng panglife guard lang meron. It’s a good thing for me because I got a chance to rest my social networking account and just focus on my family and the beautiful scenery. I can calm myself and just relax. Para akong nasa bahay ni Kuya at wala akong pakielam sa outside world! hahaha
Enough of my kaemohan and below are the pictures. Please enjoy 🙂

Since I am not a kid anymore naks! hahahha, And I am more conscious of my skin and aware of what will be the effect of the sun to my skin so I always bring this whenever we have a swimming getaway for 2 reasons only; one is to protect me under the sun and lastly to prevent me from having a sun burn. Who wants to have a sun burn? I remember when I was a kid when I really don’t care about my complexion or what will happen to my skin after endlessly enjoying the swimming pool or the beach under the sun so ang ending, hindi ako pwedeng matulog ng nakahiga. why? because of the sun burn of course. ever since when I reach the age of self-consciousness (hahahhaha) I started using this sunblock. This is a must have for your next summer gateaway! don’t forget okay?

Dermplus sunblock can also use for kids, yeah. since I have my 2 year old baby boy, I always look for a kid friendly everything! hehehhe! Just want to make sure that whatever I can put on my body can also be use for my son. easy and safe. Para less na din ang dala kapag nagaouting! hahahha.

Till my next gateaway! see you next time 🙂
